Synopse

Sanna has clear rules about dealing with men. Sex: yes. Waking up together: no. Falling in love: under no circumstances. The sociologist is firmly of the opinion that most relationships are doomed to failure sooner or later. She has even developed her own break-up theory that she then tests in the framework of a social study. She interviews different couples before their wedding and thereafter - when they, according to her expectation, have chosen one of 21 ways to ruin their marriage. Everything goes according to plan and then along comes Aleksi, who confounds her expectations. Are there in the end maybe 21 ways to fall in love? JOHANNA VUOKSENMAA (*1965) has won several awards for her films and screenplays. Her last-but-one film 21 Ways to Ruin a Marriage was a big hit at FILMFEST HAMBURG n 2013.
