Big Data: What pulls an audience and if so, how much? Panel discussion on the opportunities offered by data gathering and analysis

Fundamental decisions about the creation, marketing and evaluation of a film are often taken without a valid informational basis. With Big Data, there is now a tool available that offers help in making well-founded decisions. The German Film Academy and Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein would like to discuss the opportunities offered by data gathering and analysis and answer the question of how German films can reach their audience with the help of Big Data.

Guests include David Croyé (JustWatch), Jannis Funk (Cinuru Research, Film University Babelsberg), Stefan Kuhlow (WerbeWeischer) and Daniel Sibbers (Yorck Kinogruppe).

Presenting: Uli Höcherl (Blickpunkt:Film).

Keynote: Dr. Frank Eickmeier (Unverzagt von Have).

The event is organized by the German Film Academy and Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein.
