Emine's husband Cemal left Turkey to earn a living in Rumania and she hasn't heard anything for him for ages. Is he still alive even? When their child falls ill and urgently needs an expensive operation, Emine takes on a job as seamstress and meets Ziya again, Cemal's ex-boss. He pays for the operation, but it doesn't end there: he and Emine begin a clandestine relationship. When Cemal unexpectedly comes home a few months later and finds the bill for the operation, things rapidly get out of control. Ember is an intense love triangle drama with dynamics consisting of looks and gestures which draws the audience into its unbearably tense atmosphere.
