Story
After the death of her husband, a woman learns that he had been leading a double life. A quiet drama about mourning and pain – and the search for a new beginning. Having converted to Islam for her Anglo-Pakistani husband, Sarah lives between two worlds. Up until his death, he had commuted for many years between Dover und Calais. When Sarah finds evidence of a woman in France in his papers, she sets out to find this person on the other side of the Channel and manages to get a job cleaning in the house of her husband’s ex-lover. Two women left behind, mourning for the same man and trying to leave their pasts behind them.
